    Question First ever project / We would love to get your FEEDBACK! / atroX | mini series

    Dear Film Maker Forum Readers,

    this is our first ever post and first over film making project.

    This project was shot without a dialogue so that anyone worldwide can enjoy and imagine their own scenarios. Further, we have tried to shoot without any indication of nationality, location and background in order to have a neutral viewership experience.

    Our mini series is called "atroX" and was shot in 4k 24fps with an iPhone 7 Plus. The series consists of 6 episodes in total and we have published the first five episodes on YouTube (since we are new to the forum, we are not allowed to post links - please find our episodes on Youtube by searching for "Ursa Major Media" channel);
    episode six (season finale) will be available in the beginning of September.

    Since this is our first ever project, we would love to get your feedback since we are planning on to create new projects in the future.

    1. How did you find our video quality?
    2. Any suggestions/feedback on editing / is it too simple?
    3. After watching episode one, were you keen to watch episode two? If no, why not, what would have been better?
    4. Any suggestions to find more viewers for our series and how to reach them?
    5. General comments?

    Thank you in advance for your answers and have a great day! :)

    Good camera work and sound. Nice editing. Good music. Problem is you have taken two 15 second scenes and stretched them to 5 minutes (3 minutes driving a car and almost 2 minutes of a man crawling on the ground). Almost three minutes of a man alone driving a car with no dialogue wouldn't be seen in a 2 hour movie. It gets boring after 15 seconds or so. At three minutes it doesn't build up tension, it just makes me wonder when it's going to end and when is something going to happen. 15 seconds of the driving scenes would be good for a 20 second Mercedes commercial. Also there's no dialogue here. And the man decides not to shoot the gun. He kicks the guy and leaves him tied up instead. What's the purpose of the gun then? There's about a 30 second story here. No, I wouldn't watch the next episode. Sorry.

    Thank you very much for your honest and informative feedback!
    We totally agree with your feedback, especially that we do not have enough tension due to long scenes.
    In our upcoming projects we will make sure that overall scenes will remain interesting.

    Again thanks for watching and taking time to respond!

    I also agree with this.
