    Default 24fps or 60fps

    Hey guys

To get the "film look", everyone says to shoot at 24fps. But if I shoot at 60fps and render with 24fps, will I get the same result?

(I'm from Brazil, so i'm sorry if I have any writing mistakes)

No you won't, what makes 24fps look so "cinematic" is the motion blur which is caused by having the shutter at 1/48. If you shoot at 60 and convert it to 24 you will get choppy wierd uncinematic movement because the shutter is 1/120.

If you want to shoot at 60 fps with the shutter speed at 1/60, it will look a lot closer to 1/48 when rendering at 24fps. But I still see no reason to shoot at 60fps unless you want to do slow motion or something like that.
