Default Camera setup for a documentary

    Hello all,

I am looking to shoot a documentary this summer but need help deciding on a camera. I would like a camera that is preferably $600 and below (just amateur gear, please), and then I need some suggestions on a good attachment mic I could use for clear audio, as the interview process needs to have extremely portions of audio.

I was looking at the Canon EOS Rebel T7, but I would also like other suggestions on quality as well as price.

Thank you all for the help

I assume you are looking to shoot HD and not 4K. you can check out a multitude of HD cameras that will get the job done. I good budget cam is the Canon T5i with the kit lens.

you can find it used here for $376.99 with prime delivery - https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-list...h+18-55mm+Lens

A few episodes of House MD was shot with this camera.
