I've been going to this site to look for gigs for the past six months or so. I don't know if you can see the gigs there without being a member, but it might work. They have info about festivals and offer a number of free telecasts with people in the industry. The site is still in stage one of restructing. I joined it when they opened it for screenwriters to post their work and I did that. The downside is that they still don't have it open for viewing and I can't find a way to message them any more. Have any of you looked into this?

It's the International Screenwriters Association at http://www.networkisa.org/
    Craig James runs the site.

I can view gigs on the ISA site without logging in, it's the response to the gigs that becomes difficult if you are not a member. In the new iteration of the site, they allow for writers to profile their log lines and synopses and also the writer can tag the script with all sorts of searchable attributes, so say a producer wants a rom com indie, she/he can search with those tags. I have gotten two full read requests from producers through the site, though no options or purchase yet. i have noticed a distinct decline in the number of gigs with the new site design.

Thanks for the info. Yes, I also noticed that only a few gigs have come in since they updated the site. It does make it easier to reply to them, but I believe ISA takes 15% if you sell it there.

I have not seen the 15% in their terms. If you have a specific citation or reference to that, please post that. Thank you. This would concern me as they are not offering themselves as registered agents nor have i signed any agreement dictating how the money flows and that is contrary in my read of the WGA signatory agreement for agents.

When I was first looking at the contract, I saw something about 15%, but I can't find it now. It's possible that this percentage is taken only from those who are running classes on the site.
