Thanks! Yeah honestly I think Lynch is tapping into a very particular part of the psyche, so much so that it sometimes just does not connect with certain viewers. Like, I think it is almost a physical reaction to some of the sequences that he makes that gets people interested. He really is riding the roller coaster of his bizarre ideas, without thinking much of...

It's a story of cruelty toward children, the loss of a child and the torment it causes. The beauty IMO of Lynch's work is instead of telling a story like that with a detailed technical play by play of how exactly these things happened, he gives you an emotional, surreal sensory experience, that personally gives me a more pure emotional understanding of the...

Lol, David Lynch's work is certainly not typical, of any cinema in any country. I have no idea what you would be comparing this work to in terms of American cinema... And what shock value is there in this film? Literally no violence, language or disturbing imagery. The film as a whole becomes disturbing, but certainly did not utilize "shock value," to elicit a...

Honestly it is a mixed bag. I have been dedicated to that same goal for the last 10 years in Los Angeles. It is absolutely about making as much high quality work as possible, short films, music videos, whatever you are inspired to make, target the market you want to get hired for. And at the same time, you need to meet people in the business, in commercials, TV...

Hey Guys, Here is my favorite short film of all time, by the Master, David Lynch. It's called Blue Green. This captures my attention and interest more than any short I've seen: Enjoy!

Did you already buy it? What's your budget? Use Adobe Premiere man...even if you can get your hands on a "discounted," copy of Premiere CS6, will work much better than Pinnacle.

Not sure if you shot this already, but either way, something like this, have a bucket standing by and get all the footage you want of her just stuffing her face, as messy as can be. Then have her spit it out. Rinse (or don't) and repeat! Get a lot of shots of that, in a variety of different ways, and like people said above, use some really clever editing to...

Something in your post production has squished your frame too much. The whole scene looks like it was supposed to be in the aspect ratio of 2.35:1, but the vertical aspect of the frame got squished. Double check your workflow!
