Default Free Video Footage for Your Projects

    Hi everyone,

I've just begun a new section on my site for free video footage. These are shots that might be useful under titles, as transitions or anything else you can think of. I've got one page up at the moment as a test, and am in the process of shooting more footage so I can offer a wide variety of shots. If anyone has any requests for certain types of shots, I'll be happy to keep my eyes open during my travels. In the meantime, feel free to check out my test page here:

    Enjoy!

Nicely shot but would be better with audio (eg. surf sounds, birds, etc.) and if the sequences were longer. You are already there, why not let the sequences run for 20 or 30 seconds with audio?

Stock footage generally doesn't include ambient audio. Often, the audio isn't usable anyway due to extraneous noise. The inlet where a bunch of my shots were taken is actually very noisy from whining boat engines, jet skis and other things. It looks beautiful, but doesn't sound very good. In my own films, I often record ambient audio in other places that are more quiet and put it under the video. I have a couple of clean ocean ambience sounds here: https://soundimage.org/sfx-environments/ but I really need to get a lot more.

    Anyhow...

    Happy Friday everyone!

I've begun opening looping video pages. These loops might be useful as motion backgrounds for websites, for video projection behind bands, or anything else you can think of. They live here:

I’ve also added some more footage from the seashore here:

    Have a good weekend!

    Hi everyone,

I’ve added some new sparkly water shots that might be nice behind titles or credits:
