  • Documentary - The Music of the Street

Here is a documentary film my group made for a university project. I was director of photography, and also camera operated with two other operators.
General feedback and thoughts would be appreciated, I want to gain what I can from the experience, and learn from my mistakes.

Hey man, I thought that was very well done. Mined sharing what camera you guys used and how long it took you?

      Hey Charles, thank you :)
We shot it on 3 cameras for the sake of getting enough coverage in a shorter space of time.
Two of the camera men had Canon 6D full frame DSLRs, one of them the 24-70mm lens, I forgot which lens the other guy had
Myself I was shooting with my trusty Canon 600D with 18-135mm - to be honest it's hard to tell the quality difference in this video
      Glad you liked the film

Very nice job. Just two critiques: work on your framing and rule of thirds. You always seem to frame your subject in the center of the frame. The other thing is that I would have liked to look at the man more in the eyes. Seeing him from the side was a bit awkward. However, overall I loved it!
