Just a quickly edited piece on my recent trip to the Silk route. I doubt you'll understand the significance of a few shots, but I hope you enjoy the scenic shots all the same! This is the reason I haven't made a video since June!

Nice! Have you considered selling stock footage?

Cheers. Nah I haven't really. The process seems quite long, and I'm really only wanting to do narrative film because I find it so fun.

It's not hard at all. I just started on Pond5, and although they have yet to approve my clips, is really cool. You just create an account, submit footage, tag it, and wait! You retain all rights, so it's really at no risk to you. You should use some of the scenic shots in this video.

          Very cool stuff.

My only problem was that at 24:00 my speakers almost blew up! :)

Cool site, created an account. Past sites I've looked into require ID, restrictions on content etc. so I never bothered!

            Sorry Mark, should've warned ya!

This must have been an incredible trip that could be made into a documentary. Throw in some voice over history and you're all set. The scene breaks were startling, but that was obviously your intent. It was well produced and the music was right. It needs to be lengthened and needs some plot.

Hm, might look into that. It was however not the sort of trip where I'd have time to think about too many shots for an actual doc, so I might not even have enough footage for something much longer!
