  • Looking for fellow Youtubers

So I finally got my channel up and running, and I posted my first video. I had to do a voice over, so me talking sounded really monotone and boring. Definitely going to fix that in future videos, don't worry.

Anyway I'm looking for fellow YouTubers to talk with and so I can subscribe to you guys, and even possibly do a collab.

I'd also really appreciate if you guys could subscribe :)

    Thanks

Congrats on getting your channel up and posting your first video! Welcome to the world of Youtube :)

One thing I'd highly recommend for your tutorials is having some footage of you or your actors doing something that would incorporate the effect you're trying to teach others. For example, simply acting out a scene where you are pulling out your weapon and firing with the effect added to your scene. This way from a viewers perspective were not just watching you talk in the same place and also showing the effect in the same place. It'll help with the pacing and entertainment value of you videos and make things a little more dynamic :) Two great examples are the tutorials done by Andrew Kramer of Video copilot and CorridorDigital.

While I don't typically do tutorials, mine are more focused on VFX Breakdowns but the same concepts apply - you can checkout some of my stuff at: http://www.youtube.com/user/OrangePekoeMedia

But most of all, keep having fun and honing your own film making skills :)

    Cheers!
    A.
