  • Crew Wanted Chasing Solace - Feature Film in Lithuania

    Title: Chasing Solace
    Length: 96 pages
    Copyright: TXu 1-767-411
    Genre: Roadtrip romance

Logline: An American traveler and Lithuanian woman decide to journey through her native Baltic nation together. Along the way the two develop friendship, leading to a strong emotional connection.

From May 19th to June 2nd I will be in Lithuania, speaking with actors, DPs, set designers, musicians, banks, etc. to put together an accurate budget, crew and talent list. While there are some slots with interests, most are open.

The film is simple, i.e. no special effects, small cast (2 principal, 15 supporting including one scene and one line characters) and no need for fancy equipment or expensive props.

The entire film will be shot in Lithuania in both indoor, outdoor, public and private areas. Scouting will be done during my trip.

If interested, please respond with resume and rates. If you would like to assist in funding this project, respond with any questions you might have. While figures are rough estimates, I can guarantee production of this film to cost less than $200,000 USD, using Canon 5d, Canon xl h1 or Sony F3 camera(s).

I have completed a little trailer with a local actress in Lithuania. It is not the greatest thing in the world but I do believe it gets the story, tone and setting across.

It can be watched here: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8D4RSejp2IY&feature=bf_next&list=HL1338355 035]Chasing Solace Trailer - YouTube[/ame]

        Let me know your thoughts.

Felix, #1 thanks for being a part of this forum. #2 the dialog is a bit low at times, and trailer dialog is very very important, Love the idea and music they went well together

Thank Nick. My camera is a cheap JVC so the audio didn't get picked up all the time. I think I should add subtitles.

If anyone wants to be kept updated, let me know.
