  • No Pay Job Easy voice work for a Ghostbusters Fan Series!

We are on the verge of wrapping on the first installment of our online Ghostbusters: Richmond Divison fan series. The project is mostly in post production at this point with a few lose ends to tie up. One being a simple three line voice over for the intro sequence. The part is that of a police officer responding over the air with a dispatcher and a Ghostbuster on duty. I will post the lines below along with a link to the trailer for anyone interested in sending us their voice clip via email. Should your submission be chosen, you would be notified immediately and receive constant updates on the projects progress and future showings and festivals and of course be credited for your performance. So give it a try and send us your best cop voice!

    Excerpt from script (Officer):
    CUT IN
OVER BLACK WITH LIMITED CREDITS (Alternately use footage). We hear the static of a police C.B. radio and a dispatcher.

Units, we have a reported 415 in a residential
    area. Unusual disturbance. Please respond.

This is unit two-two-three. Im in the area.
What do you mean unusual? Over.

Suddenly a third voice is heard over the C.B.

    I got this.

    Dispatch, weve got someone
    on our frequency. Over.

    Matt, stand down.

    Who is this?

    I said Ive got it.

    I said, stand down.
Youre not authorized to take that ticket.

    Third party, youre unauthorized for
    clearance on this frequency.
    Please identify. Over.

    Matt Adams. Ghostbuster.

For the record, I'm always up to doing voice-over work for anyone who wants it. Be warned, I'm not a VO artist, but I was told by my acting teacher at NYU that I'm "a natural actor." I did plays in school and in college, and while I'm in Hollywood, I'm more a filmmaker than an actor. plus, I worked on Madison Ave in NYC working on commercials and worked with lots of VO artists, so I know what VO sounds like.

That said, anyone can contact me and I'll be glad to set up the ol' mic and record for you. If you hate it, don't use it. Just my way of giving to this forum.
