  • Filming with Limited Lenses

Tomorrow I'll be using my GH2 with the following lenses to shoot my short film:

    1. Panasonic 20mm (1.7) prime

    2. Panasonic 14mm-42 kit lens (3.5)

    3. Panasonic 45-200 mm telephoto (5.6)

I wanted to rent the Rokinon 35mm 1.5 Cine, but they're out of stock.

Therefore, I'm thinking my best bet is to be creative with the 20mm -- take my close-ups from at least three different angles that I'll cut together in post. If I do this, my telephotos will not get any play at all.

    Should they ...?

My only worry is you shouldn't be shooting your closeups from three different angles, your closeups should match the line of action with your other shots, just thinking out load here....
