  • Essential Equipment

I have a short film written for college admissions, and Im going to start filming very soon.
I shoot on a DSLR Rebel, and want it to look as professional as possible. My problem is figuring out how to light the shots. Any tips? Most of my shots are inside at night, and one is outdoor during the middle of the day. Also, any equipment you think I should invest in? Thanks!

Ps. I want to make the shots look well lit, but also evident that it is night time.

Post production is important. Invest in a good editing software and AE. Then, if you want well lit night shots, film on cloudy days, and you could do some day for night shoots.

Nick might have a tutorial about this. Good luck with your project.

Obviously, you will need lights as well. 2001 Productions may be able to help you figure out which to get.
