  • How do you measure how much percent of the movie was directed by who?

What I mean is, the usual rule is whoever directs over half the movie gets the director credit. But how do you measure how much of the movie is half, when it comes to pre-production, production, and post production?

Do some areas have a larger percentage than others in terms of measuring it, or are different areas measured to what counts as over half exactly?

Some movies have more than one credited director. What's the context of the question?

Sorry, what I mean is how are the percentages devided normally? Like how do you know how much percent of the movie is over half?

It's simply a matter of negotiation between the producer(s) and the director(s), not a formula.
