Hi, your work looks impressive! I am trying to come on the scene as a film and game composer, just wondering how you get your work? How people know you etc. Feel free to check out my small amount of work, I am adding more all the time, so your continued support and sharing of my work would be much appreciated, Thanks!

You just have to reach people, for example, if you're interested in working for videogames scoring you have to do your research and look for developers, if you're interested in film scoring look for filmmakers and directors. You have to know that at first you'll have to do it for free, so you can get some sort of portafolio, demo reel, etc you can show other people who would be willing to pay you for a job like this.

You can always look for indie developers like Team Salvato, Yandere dev, or developers who are just starting out. Search for forums and facebook groups. For film makers well this is a great place, look for facebook pages and groups as well, social media is the key. And don't be afraid to write to them, knock the doors, one of them will answer. Hope this helps :)

That's an excellent answer, and vey helpful! Thanks so much. I am on every forum I've found and am sharing everywhere but those names you gave me for developers are useful because i can write directly to them like you said. Thanks again! And if there's a project you're not interested in or the rates are too low (e.g. Free) then let me know, I'm willing to work for no payment for sure!
Feel free to take a look at my work, search my name in Spotify: Howard Fletcher or my Youtube channel: HEFletcher, I'm uploading more soon.
                          Thanks,

Also, a great place to research for indie game developers is youtube. It might sound weird but watching other people's gameplays of indie games will give you info about it. That's how i found about Team Salvato, developers of doki doki literature club which was an indie game that went viral last month; and Yandere dev, the developer of Yandere Simulator, i have worked with this one a few time and i found out about his game because of the big youtubers playing Yandere Simulator.

So if you want to go for videogames, youtube is a great source of information, besides, youtubers will always do gameplays of new games on the market. And these games are often on sandbox phase which means they need collaborations! So check it out, people like Pewdiepie, Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, Cinnamontoast Ken, which are the bigger gameplayers on youtube. That's a good start.
