    This week I saw -

Audrey Hepburn in Sabrina and Funny Face.

Grace Kelly in Rear Window and To Catch A Thief.

    Carole Lombard in Nothing Sacred.

MOVIE STARS. They just don't make them like this anymore.

We were in Disney's Hollywood Studios waiting to eat in the SCI-FI Dine In. Which I highly recommend if you're ever in Disney. It's like you're eating at a Drive In Theatre. They play old cartoons/Newreels/Trailers of 50s Sci Fi stuff on the screen. You sit in the front or back seat of a car like table. It's great.

Anyway, I'm looking through a book of George Hurrell's Glamour Shots. His favorite actresses to shoot were Norma Shearer and Joan Crawford. Of course they had faces back then. These women were flawless. NOT! They put a side by side comparison of Crawford before and after photo touchup. You could see every imperfect freckle on her face, as opposed to her flawless airblown portrait. It was hilarious. Still a gorgeous woman.

I watched The Women with Shearer a few weeks ago. Excellent movie. But, there's no way in hell they kept the same outcome for the remake. This movie is a feminist's nightmare.
