Default need some budget advice to start out filming music videos

    hello everyone! complete noob here

i want to start filming low budget musicvideos and have 350$ to spend on gear. i know - this is extremely less money and thats why i need some advice on whats the most important etc..

i think the very basic stuff to start out is a camera, stative and maybe a drone right? or what else would be handy to have? i am planning to focus on nature shots, but also including actors sometimes..

please name some products so i can look them up :)

    thanks in advance,
    fisch

Obviously a camera is a necessity, but $350 is too limiting for anything beyond a fixed lens camera (which are typically bad for filmmaking). However, if you're starting out, focus on creatively using the camera rather than its short comings. Check out this video:

Camera - Used Panasonic FZ80 20mm-1200mm fixed lens camera, less than $250 on ebay. Zoom mini recorder - about $100. Video and audio editing software. Tripod to hold the camera steady - Pinnacle P920 Tripod $50 new at amazon or B&H. I think this is the bare minimum to start unless you just want to use your cell phone.

great advice from bobspez. For a little more there is the GH4 , a prime lens and a servo zoom for run&gun, a remote lanc zoom controller (libec 3DV/ panasonic protocol)
a good combo would be the GH4 and the olympus 12-50 servo and the 25mm 1.7 ( which is roughly a 2.8 LT)
I like the weifeng 717 fluid head on any tripod
the zoom for audio is great, with a lav like the giant squid performs better than any sennheiser but it would be most likely a TSR. A tascam with XLR would cover direct to main and XLR for the "real" thing in audio and for basically the same cost of a zoom handheld.
this setup can cover creative, cinema, broadcast, run&gun, sports, music and concerts. Basically everything at stellar video and audio quality.

    Default Equipment

Honestly I use my phone with a gimbal and a couple of small lights. Maybe you can start off there since everyone practically has a smart phone ?
