    Something in your post production has squished your frame too much. The whole scene looks like it was supposed to be in the aspect ratio of 2.35:1, but the vertical aspect of the frame got squished. Double check your workflow!

    Personally I don't care for a dark underexposed look in movies. It was used in the movie "The Last Picture Show" and to some extent in "McCabe and Mrs. Miller". Another thing a number of cuts are made before a jump or move is completed. This type of film would generally highlight the stunts rather than cut away before they are actually completed.
