Ive posted this before, but never got around to figuring it out and now completely lost all the info I found!

Does anyone know any good tutorial sites/videos for showing how to create a mask transition using keyframes in FCPX?

So for example where a clip moves in over the top of the previous one in a controlled manner? Hopefully that makes sense...

Not sure what the technical explanation of this is, but I can't seem to find anything for it on the internet.

Any help is appreciated!

Like when an extra close to camera in the incoming scene walks cross camera to block out the A side to create a transition from one scene to another, it sounds like.

There are tons of tutes on making masks....tho' maybe not one masking transitions, per se.

Once you understand the basics of masking and keyframes, you can tailor their use to making transitions with the same principles.
