What type of sounds are you looking for?

If you're thinking about using this as a pitch video or advert, I recommend you hire a skilled sound effects/Foley artist to make custom sounds for the short.

Hey, there are plenty of sound effects CDs that are not expensive. Just search amazon, or iTunes even. Also in regards to royalty free songs (paid, but not as expensive) i found www.shockwave-sound.com (http://www.shockwave-sound.com) pretty good.

If at all possible, I would recommend creating original sounds, regardless of whether they are practical sounds or synthesized. The reason is our minds are very good at remembering sounds we've heard before, so if someone is playing your game and hears a sound effect that was used in another game he/she had played in the past...or a commercial / film / etc., it will pull the player out of the game. Same goes for sound fx in film.

It's more work, but worth it.
