"I wanted to live deep and suck out the marrow of life ... "

LOGLINE: The story of a lonely, beautiful lake, and the great American eccentric who fell in love with it.

Walden is my adaptation of Thoreau's well-known book, recounting the period of his life (circa 1850) when he lived on the shores of Walden Pond, in a shack which he built with his own hands.

We follow Thoreau as he watches the seasons turn, encountering runaway slaves, illiterate woodsmen and Polish ice-cutters, all the time living in intense communion with the glorious, silent lake.
