Hello! I have this one minute short thriller and I've been trying to compose some music for it. It is basically piano sound but I don't seem to get what I want. Is there any advice I can get? Or is somebody interested in lending me their music? Anything is appreciated! Thanks in advance

Is using royalty free music a good idea? I suppose it is when one's on a very tight budget, but I would like to hear other opinions

I'd say so as long as you consider their terms of use. Allot of websites that I've looked at expect payment to use their music in your film.

In my latest student film, I worked with a friend, who worked on a completely original soundtrack on Garageband. I edited the film together while he made music on his IPad which we were able to import into our editor.

That worked brilliantly for us, as not only were we able to kill two birds with one stone, but also create an original soundtrack to suit the scenes of our film.

- This is all asuming that you're looking for something for free or very cheap

I see what you're saying but I'm barely a musician so I guess that's a reason why I get stuck so often. I know a few people that could make my score but they are busy as of now. I'll try to convince them. Thanks
