Hi all, very happy to have found this wonderful forum and have the opportunity to introduce myself. I am a freelance composer looking to take on some new projects. I have had music placed in a bunch of network and cable shows- NBC, ABC, The Food Network, Bravo, HGTV, Travel Channel, MTV, DIY Network and TV Land among others. I have been making music for over 20 years and I can compose and produce music in just about any style, often mixing live instruments with virtual instruments and orchestral sounds to create a more organic and unique sound. I love the creative process of scoring to picture- coming up with the best style, instrumentation and overall sound to support and complement the overall vision and aesthetic of the work.

Here are some short form reels to give you a sense of where I'm coming from:

Via my website www.scotthamptoncomposer.com (http://www.scotthamptoncomposer.com) you can check out additional audio and video reels and get a sense of my scoring style.

Please get in touch if you want to talk about collaborating. I would love to talk with you about what you're doing and how the right music could enhance your project!

Excellent, looking forward to hearing from you! I see you're in Pittsburgh, must be great for filmmaking. I did a show there last year at Garfield Artworks.

It definitely is, tons of cool locations, and with recent feature films being filmed there, it's a great city to start up.
