View Full Version : Someone Get Sam - CLIP

Slap this sucker in HD! A really rough cut clip I threw together in like 45minutes. I still need to add some soundFX and videoFX.

Today was kind of a frustrating day though. We didn't get to finish everything and the lead actress got her phone stolen. I was pissed for her because we think we know who took it and didn't catch their license plate.

But hope you enjoy the clip.

Looks good. It makes me think of something I would like to see in a western some day. In reality in the great majority of duels, both people missed. In that case there was no do over or anything. They were both considered to have defended their honor and go their separate ways. It seems like that never happens in movies, though. Whenever there is a duel in a movie, someone always gets shot...

Very cool! First thing that I noticed (not sure why?) is that he's a lefty, she's a righty.
Probably because both guns are on the same side of the screen...which is like.

Haha yeah, I asked them that beforehand, and they both said righty, then I realized the storyboard was backwards, so I decided to improvise.

Thay had cell phones in the old west? Nicely executed. Captivating; since I spilled my breakfast on myself as I was watching. keep up the good work Mr. J10!

You really caught that Italian western quality in the music. Maybe you could throw in some more extreme close-ups. Why did you have to kill off the cute guy in the first scene?

I found this documentary about Italian westerns on youtube. About an hour--in 4 parts.

I think it may be on Netflix, too.

It's called The Spaghetti West.

If you're still in production, you may learn something to use in your film.

Haven't watched it yet, but I plan on it later today.

[at]kurt- haha yeah I actually have seen all of that. Before I started working on the movie I pretty much watched any video I could find involving spaghetti westerns. The last one I saw was the big gundown with van cleef and millian. Such an excellent movie.
