Hello to all,
this is the brief teaser trailer for my short film, "Percy".

In what I can only describe as a black comedy, "Percy" is about an alcoholic puppet navigating through life.
Unfortunately, I started shooting this film in January and haven't finished it due to a major rewrite I did and
various other factors. But now I'm shooting at a decent pace to finish the film soon.

Fun fact, I puppeteer and voice Percy himself.

Cheers,
Joe Canton

I don't have a definite date ready, but soon I will. It's currently around 10 minutes, and I'm aiming for 20. So within the next few weeks it should be complete.

I would say that if your aim for 20 minutes then make sure there are no boring parts, sometimes (since its a short) to just make a great 10 min film then a mediocer 20 min film. Know what I mean?

It was originally going to be significantly longer, but the last draft that I was shooting was not very well recieved on the count of it being "too dark" to some people. So, I scrapped that footage for the most part, rewrote a new lighter but still significantly dark version and hopefully will marathon film it throughout the week. This is my vacation week from work, so it seems like a no-brainer. I just don't know where to put it when I'm done, since YouTube only lets me put 15 minute videos.
