Ok we now have polls concluding our first project will be a narrative short.

To recap we'll be shooting different segments around the world. Our confirmed locations are:

USA both east and West Coast, I believe we had LA, New York, and Virginia

Seol South Korea

Mumbai India

Some other cities were mentioned. Let us know if we're missing anything here.

So with that in mind I think we should have a brief discussion of how to proceed. The options I can think of are: narrowing down the genre through more polls,
pitching ideas and voting on pitches then having the top rated pitches write scripts,
Have writers write a draft and go straight to voting on completed scripts.

Ok so for those of you here what are your thoughts on how we should proceed? I'm in favor of going straight to scripts. It will give us a better idea of how the finished film would turn out. People that had one genre in mind might read a great script from another genre and change their mind completely. I don't really see any advantage in first limiting ourselves to one genre then seeing if we can come up with a compelling script.
