Hey guys, anyone know where I can download some lens flares that are in a .psd file

I need something with no background layer. Let me know if you can help ASAP

I just found this: http://www.brusheezy.com/psds/20619-lens-flare-psd-pack I haven't used it, so I can't guarantee that it's a safe download, but just something to look at.

Why don't you just make one on a black layer in PS? Then set that layer to blend mode 'Screen' :)

Just a tip for anyone planning to buy lens flares for AE: get Optical Flares by Video Copilot. Red Giant's lens flare plug in is O.K, but I don't think it looks anywhere near as realistic. Red Giant makes many great plug ins, but not this one. If I'm not mistaken, Optical flares also costs less.

Red Giant is the owner of Knoll Light Factury. They have an excellent lens flare stand-alone/plugin for photoshop. :)

Knoll light factory is what I was talking about. The only reason why you would buy it is if you need a standalone or for photoshop. If you are getting it for AE, than Optical Flares is much better.

Or if you, besides given literally 100s of flares also want the option to play around with shadows. KLF have a great option in perspective shadowing. Just sayin' ;)

Never played around with it as a stand alone, but I had it as a plug-in for an earlier version of PS (CS3 I think), and I loved it. :)

Yes, I wasn't saying it wasn't powerful, I just thought that Optical flares normally looks more realistic.
