What is a good free video editing software that is free and no free trials.

Best Answer:

I don't think it would be right for a thread about free near-professional quality editing software not to include KDenlive.

But it's only for Linux (edit: and Mac).

Here's the web site anyway: http://kdenlive.org/

EDIT: OOPS my mistake, there is actually a Mac OS X version as well.

That's even better I will be probably buying a chromebook later on which I'm pretty sure runs Linux so that's great!

Sorry, I just noticed, KDenlive also has a Mac OS X version. I didn't notice that before.

Try this. I just downloaded it last night. You could watch basic tutorials for it on YouTube. Hope this helps http://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_docman&task=cat_view&gid=8&Itemid=
