I need a movie poster updated. The web and print resolution quality is terrible. I also need to change the title to a more readable and attractive color/font etc. The pay is 50.00 bucks to update the current poster with hi quality print and web resolution. The title block will not be necessary. It will be changed and updated later. The poster is attached. As you can see it has issues. If interested, let me know. Payment will be made to your PayPal account. We can also talk about a new poster/new design.

Thanks!

To much red, try adding some white text in somewhere

Bottom text to big - (remember these are posters, so you have to think "big" but post "small" :)

I like where you are going though, just needs a little work

haha ok. What size should the font be for the credit block?

Nick Soares

Hmmm, it varies on poster resolution, im not sure. Just remember at times when you think something might be to cliche just remember that things work for a reason. Looking good! Cant wait to see next version

When you get that next change done, post it also. I think you are getting close. Keep the 3 characters the same size...light wrap them with the background color so they look like they are part of the scene etc. as directed from last email...then post. You are doing a fantastic job. :)

tseverio

Similar to the original poster...the characters color/tint matched the background. The color wrapped the characters.

I'm on PC...it may be blocking the host site. No problem though becaue I can see it in drop box. As long as others can see it here. Did you get my last note? That is my only suggestion. :)

I like where its going but I think what Nick said about the RED color was right on, it seems you almost when backwards and added more RED? Ok just my 2 cents, Ill leave you guys to it

tseverio

Thanks for the feedback, that's what we are looking for. We need opinions on it. I like the red but if it is too much, maybe he could leave everything as is and pull some color back into the characters. when the bottom title block is added, it will be white lettering.

I actually liked this one better

http://www.filmmakerforum.org/artwork/1501-movie-poster.html#post7047

I think if you want to get to that "next level" stuff, remove the guy with the hood and the crazy eyes. Bring up the title a bit, realign everything, and just make sure its at high resolution, dont want to have a blurry type of feel. Poster need to be sharp and crisp.

tseverio
02-26-2013, 11:19 AM
Thanks Nick, I am not following you though. What hood? And are you talking about the guy with the patch on his eye? Thanks!

[at]Nick: Yeah the original is 27x40 but when I uploaded it to photobucket to post on here, it made it smaller.

I just got update number 7. I think it looks good bu the characters need staggering like the original. It looks good though.

I think the credits were fine. I think you should put out the actors and try to be simpler.
Probably it's a horror movie. The title sounds nice. It would better if you use a film still. Use a frame of your movie
which is scary and gives the viewer some hints of what he is about to see. Find your frame, edit, make it darker,
put it in the centre under the title...Try it. It might work.

BTW ipad has great apps to do posters on that add multi layer images and texts from your library and its own! Master FX is the name!
