Hi All. I am an English filmmaker currently producing and directing a Czech Language film starring legends of Czech Cinema: Ondrej Vetchy, Jiri Schmitzer, Jan Kacer, Josef Somr and others, based in Prague. Red Green Blue is a psychological thriller, Pulp Fiction meets Irreversible and Memento, based in Prague. We have shot over 1/3 of the film, at 4K and 5K UHD on the Red Epic and plan to finish shooting in March/April. We're currently searching for funding to finalise the film (it's truly independent and low budget :) ). For now I thought you all might like to take a look at the trailer :)

RGB Trailer:

I'd love to hear from anyone intereted in coproduction, or just your experiences in low budget/high quality film making. Or any feedback on the trailer would be appreciated :) Thanks

Paul Dean, I embedded your video for you, you should do so to increase your viewers here and get more reviews. Many people don't like to open new windows :)

See the FAQ to learn how to do that.

Watching now!

I enjoyed it! I have always wanted to produce a film that was a second language to me. This is really cool you are doing this and what a fun challenge! I hope you can find someone local to partner up with you!

Thanks guys,
Actually, I don't speak Czech at all. It's quite a liberating experience. It helps having amazing actors you know you can trust - but it also means I find myself concentrating on emotion, pace, camera angles and framing without worrying too much about words (which can sometimes be a distraction). The reason the film is in Czech is because I wanted the best actors available and I didn't want them to have to do bad english accents :)

Just as a test, I did the 48 hour film project last year in Prague, where I wrote, directed, edited (and incidentally did all the original music) in 48 hours - in Czech! It turned out ok, though not my best effort. You can see it here:
