My name is Ryan Gilmartin. I call my team Crashed Labs Productions, and we have yet to make anything of value, or anything at all really. I hope to learn a ton here and do a bit of networking. Looking forward to finding possibly some people in my area who need people for projects.

groovy. I'm not 100 percent novice, but i did recently duck out of a Short10 film contest because of equipment and teamwork failures.

That sucks. We had to cancel a shoot for tomorrow because of the stoopid weather! I really hate snow :/

The final nail in that coffin was our effects expert telling me that "It's a cold hard fact that we aren't going to win, so we need to accept that and forget about it." and then quitting. It wasn't about the win, it was about the experience. And without her, the entry fee would have gone up per person.

Oh wow. Talk about giving up. You may not have won but like you said, the experience and you would have had a film to add to your portfolio.
