Panasonic HC-V700 Full HD Camcorder with Deluxe Accessories B&H (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/888695-REG/Panasonic_HC_V700_HD_Camcorder.html)

I'm looking into cameras, and saw this full kit. Is the camera good for the $400, or is there better?

The kit you saw, was it used?

Currently the one on the link is $800

What kind of youtube videos will you be doing, Interview type, cinematic type, or tripod (still) shots?

What I meant, is the camera alone worth $400? If you're familiar with DeShawnRaw on YouTube (Rap Battle Parody), I would like to do comedy skits like that.

Well I think for stuff like that it will "work" but I noticed the quality of the videos are more of a "Saturday Night Live" look on there skits, which for an indie filmmaker I believe is accomplished with a Canon "something"

If you want that look, I do not believe this camera will give you that. But I do believe that with the camera you are mentioning no one will really notice as far as fans, know what I mean?
