First, figure out where you're posting it - local newspaper? Actors Access? Craig's List? Briefly describe each actor that you're looking for - gender, age, physical attributes if relevant, etc. Brief idea of the story/type of movie. Indicate pay if any, or at least copy and credit. Date(s) you're planning to shoot. Audition dates. Your contact information to...

Thank you both very much! And I appreciate the comments about my video Marks! And yeah, tbh the reason I chose the song that I did was because it's about, well, a photograph and in my mind used it as a metaphor for video/film being photographs in motion. But "One Day at a Time" could have definitely worked as well.

Well, I really love the sense of *friendly* desolation that hangs over the video. ... ... ... Although Def Leppard's "Photograph" seems to match the plot,... ... I suggest you use Lynyrd Skynyrd's "One Day At A Time". ... ... ... ...

You know how some areas will list the worst/darkest villains in a series (like with Stephen King villains Randall Flagg, It/Pennywise, Annie Wilkins, Kurt Barlow; and with Game of Thornes villains Ramsay Bolton, Gregor Clegane, Theon Greyjoy, Joffrey Baratheon, Rorge, Euron Greyjoy are considered the worst) which villains from Walker, Texas Ranger would you...

I am a music composer looking to score some more cues to build up a demo reel and portfolio. A short film I did all the music for was featured in the Newport Beach Film Festival and SNOB Film Festival and won in competition at the Gnomon School of visual Effects, Games & Animation in Hollywood. I am looking to score single cues or trailers in various genres free...

Hi guys. I'm trying to improve my knowledge on microphones and recorders. My end goal is, I'd like to be able to read and understand the specs of future devices before I purchase. I know some things like-polar patterns, noise floor. But I'm having a hard time learning ohms and impedance, frequency response and other things. When it comes to ohms, I know the mic...

Do you want to improve the quality of your videos, to the point where your audience can't get enough? Are you moving from still photography to video, and is editing a major challenge? Could I use a Mitigation video to find work in entertainment media? 3. Are there people who help make Mitigation Videos? How do I find them?

Remember the 1932 film Scarface with Paul Muni as Antonio "Tony" Camonte/Scarface. It got a remake in 1983 starring Al Pacino the new Scarface Antonio "Tony" Montana reimagined as a Cuban refugee who climbs the ladder to be the biggest drug lord and instead of Boston they are in Miami and instead of alcohol it's drugs, and instead of being killed by cops he is...

As a screenwriter who has also produced several features and numerous shorts, the best recommendation that I can make is: (1) discuss everything thoroughly before agreeing to work with someone and (2) get all agreements in writing, even when no one is being paid. I definitely know that writers can be obsessive about our words - at the end of the day, that's...
