Hullo! I'm a writer and animator
I do everything for my animation projects, which I guess that makes me a director, too? I have always loved movies; I did a comic strip for the last twelve years about the staff of a movie theater. That's not self-promotion; it has ended. :)
I started making non-fiction videos in grad school, and my comics background lead me to do some animation in that, which lead to freelance animation projects for corporate clients... yadda yada yadda... and now I'm working on a proper short film/web series pilot.
Anyway, I'm Gordon. I live in Somerville, MA.

Welcome. No being a writer and an animator does not make you a director however if you are doing the job of a director on your short wen series, that does.
SHow us some of your stuff. We like new talent.
I canít post links for a few more days. :) But I will.
Okay, so my animation and video portfolio is here: http://www.gordonmcalpin.com/portfol...tion-and-video
The animation is pretty crude, but I think I can tell a story reasonably well. I have a lot to learn when it comes to sound, though.
All that is pretty dry client work, though. I'm currently funding my first real short film/web series pilot on Kickstarter, which I'll post about in the appropriate place…
