Basically I was following color grading tutorials such as this one. In the video, the colorist talks about to separate the skin tones from the rest of the footage as he does in 11:10 in the video.



However, when you separate the skin tones from the rest of footage, it looks good on a still frame, but when the actors move around, how do you get the program to be able to track the skin as it moves, changing in the light and all? It keeps losing the track for me, and I cannot find a tutorial that goes very deeply in how to keep the track going, if possible.

Does anyone know by any chance?
