Basically I am shooting a short film and the camera shoots in 16:9, but I want the final product to be in 2.35:1. In Premiere Pro, if I set my project to be in 1920 x 810 (2.35:1), I have to render all of my video files to suit that sequence setting. This is very time consuming in the editing process, to do this for every single shot, so I was wondering if...

Howdy all, I just wanted to share a recent comedy sketch I made. It's called 'Top 5 weirdest Alien diseases' and I used it as an excuse to make as many physical props as I could. I'm personally really happy with it and it's taken me the longest to make out of anything I've ever made but I'm always open to some feedback and constructive criticism. ...

I'm writing a film right now called "Dark Frog". I got the idea for it on a backpacking trip on the Olympic Peninsula, way before I watched "Hell Comes to Frogtown". I'm unsure if my plot is too similar. Here's the plot synopsis... After losing his fiancé, a guilt ridden laboratory janitor attempts suicide only to find himself in a alternate universe where...

I promised in my introductory post to make a contribution here. Here's my first attempt to help out others making their own content. I just finished reading an amazing book called Crowdsourcing for Filmmakers - Indie Film and the Power of the Crowd. It was written by Richard Botto who is the CEO of Stage 32 and a writer slash producer. I found this book to...

The music has a nice nostalgic mood to me and I mean professional production in the music. I'm just listening on my computer speakers, but it sounds like you could make better use of the stereo image and make some other mix decisions as far as blending the instruments with eq and volume. I explored with merging the mp3 of RUNTHECHECKUP<TM> with a random video clip that I recorded of JuWop spitting the song in the staircase. How did it turn out? Do you have any advice on merging audio with film and making it cohesive? Thank you homies!
